Trang Ánh Nam has left a new comment on your post "President Trump says AOC's 'extreme' plan could he...":

STOP the FLOW of MONEY to ALL OFFENDING Nations. Control your people or you will get absolutely NOTHING from America. Remember, "putting America first".

Sorry folks, but my humanitarian gene went out the window. I'm sick and tired of America being taking advantage of by people who have no desire to do anything about their own "crisis". If you're so sick about your country/community then rise up above the circumstances and DO SOMETHING about it. But, don't bring your garbage to my country/community and demand your way, because "your way" doesn't work.

Today is a really good day for everyone who was telling us, just a few weeks ago, that, "There is no emergency!" to take a moment to wake the hell up.

It's not too late to salvage your credibility. You don't have to suffer the knowledge that you were horribly mistaken for months on end if you just admit to yourself that the math was against you from the start.

But after today, if you insist on peddling the lie that we have no border emergency, you will deserve nothing but scorn. Just shut up, sit down, or get of the way.

[Trang Ánh Nam] New comment on BREAKING!! Chicago police release files in 'Empire....

Trang Ánh Nam has left a new comment on your post "BREAKING!! Chicago police release files in 'Empire...":

Chicago police release files in 'Empire' star Jussie Smollett case, day after charges dramatically dropped

Chicago police came out swinging Wednesday and released the full 61-page investigative report in the alleged Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax, one day after charges against the "Empire" star were dramatically dropped — but the move prompted a moot court order.

The release of the documents came one day after Cook County prosecutors dismissed a 16-count indictment against the actor, saying they had cut a deal with the TV star to perform two days of community service and forfeit his $10,000 bond to the city.

The move made it possible for Smollett's attorneys to get his criminal case immediately sealed and wiped clean.

About an hour after the department released the files, the Chicago police reportedly became subject of a court order that barred them from releasing further files even though they were widely available online.

The dismissal of charges against Smollett over the alleged attack drew a swift backlash from the city's mayor and police chief and raised questions about why Smollett was not forced to admit what prosecutors had said they could prove in court — that the entire episode was a publicity stunt.

The police files – some of which were redacted to remove witness names and personal information – laid out steps taken by detectives to get to the bottom of what happened the night of Jan. 29.

The report revealed new details about the police obtaining a search warrant for Smollett's iCloud account and then sharing the data with the FBI. The report also provided fresh details about the $3,500 check Smollett wrote to Abimbola "Abel" Osundairo and Olabinjo "Ola" Osundairo. The brothers claimed they were paid to carry out the attack on Smollett, though Smollett said the money was for personal training sessions.

Smollett told police he was attacked around 2 a.m. on his way home from a sandwich shop. He said two masked men shouted racial and anti-gay slurs, poured bleach on him, beat him and tied a rope around his neck. He claimed they shouted, "This is MAGA country" — a reference to President Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan.

The news of such heinous allegations quickly garnered national attention.

Soon, though, the tides shifted and investigators accused Smollett of making the whole thing up because he was unhappy with his pay on "Empire" and believed the publicity garnered from the incident would promote his career.

Wednesday's released report shed light on some of the behind-the-scenes moves investigators and prosecutors made to interview witnesses and throw off reporters.

[Trang Ánh Nam] New comment on 'shame on Mueller' - Alan Dershowitz calls Russia....

Miller Stephen has left a new comment on your post "'shame on Mueller' - Alan Dershowitz calls Russia...":

Maybe I'm looking at this all wrong, and I am not a deep state person who thinks Trump is guilty.

I'm just looking at this in terms of semantics.

Proving someone or something to be innocent is NEARLY impossible. To prove someone didn't do something (or to prove that an event never happened) is not the way our justice system works. That is why the burden of proof is on the prosecution (or in this case Mueller). If he doesn't find anything to suggest collusion, again simply going with semantics, that's not the same thing as proven innocence.

I hate to even bring up this argument of semantics because I do not think those with TDS will understand what I am trying to say. Maybe I should just go with the "he was proven innocent" argument to avoid any sort of confusion with the TDS crowd.

Miller Stephen has left a new comment on your post "Trump slams Ann Coulter as 'Wacky Nut Job' over he...":

I think that Ann is actually an agent for the Democrat party. Think about it....first, she backs a candidate that everyone thought was ridiculous, then, after he won, she has done NOTHING but harass him about the wall....Surely she is intelligent enough to realize that he is literally fighting the entire government over funding for this issue, and yet she whines.....Anyone with any amount of intelligence can see that Trump had no choice but to reopen the government because the Democrats don't actually care about Americans and were willing to see people lose their jobs, families, homes, property and income to make sure that illegals can continue to pour through the border. Trump had other options, like an Emergency Declaration, in order to get the job done...he just wanted to try to fix the WHOLE problem with immigration reform which should have been done YEARS ago. Plus, many Republicans give him NO support....our ONLY option at this point is to make sure we VOTE these people OUT of office...I think Trump has done a TREMENDOUS job, considering the difficulties!

[Trang Ánh Nam] New comment on Breaking News: Paul Manafort sentenced to 47 month....

Trang Ánh Nam has left a new comment on your post "Breaking News: Paul Manafort sentenced to 47 month...":

Manafort legal woes to continue with DC sentencing next week, possibly new charges in NY

Thursday's sentencing of Paul Manafort to 47 months in prison hardly brings the former Trump campaign chairman's legal matters to a close.

The tax and bank fraud case in Alexandria, Va., with U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III presiding, was only the first of two cases on which Manafort was to be sentenced this month.

Next week in Washington, D.C., Manafort is scheduled to face punishment in a separate illegal lobbying case, having pleaded guilty in that case in September.

Presiding over the D.C. case is U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson, the same judge who last month slapped former Trump adviser Roger Stone with a gag order in connection with Stone's unrelated obstruction and making-false-statements case.

Whether a sentence imposed by Jackson would be added to the Ellis sentence, or run concurrent with it, remains to be seen.

"I think it's entirely up to her," Ellis said in court Thursday, referring to Jackson, the Hill reported.

Then there's the question of whether Manafort will face additional charges in New York, where Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. is said to be preparing a case against him.

Potential charges in New York would stem from alleged unpaid states taxes as well as loans, a source told Reuters last month. They would also be part of an effort to saddle Manafort with state-level charges in the event he receives a pardon from President Trump on his convictions in federal court, Bloomberg and other sources reported.

So, it's not clear at this stage how much total time 69-year-old Manafort – who will receive credit in the Alexandria case for nine months already served in jail -- will ultimately spend behind bars.

During Manafort's Alexandria trial, President Trump referred to his former aide as a "very good person" whose legal predicament was "very sad."

Manafort has been married to his wife Kathleen for more than 40 years, and they have two adult daughters. He will turn 70 on April Fools Day.

With the Mueller probe's long reign as "The Resistance's" best hope for overturning the 2016 presidential election quickly coming to a close, the Democrats hope to simply transition to their own witch hunts.

As Manafort's sentencing on charges unrelated to the 2016 election reminds us, the coming congressional investigations will fare no better than Mueller did in the hunt for evidence of the collusion that never was.

[Trang Ánh Nam] New comment on Breaking News: Paul Manafort sentenced to 47 month....

Miller Stephen has left a new comment on your post "Breaking News: Paul Manafort sentenced to 47 month...":

Mike Huckabee: Manafort sentencing has zero, zilch, nada, nothing to do with Russian 'collusion'

With the release of the "Mueller Report" reportedly just around the corner, the sentencing Thursday of one-time Trump presidential campaign manager Paul Manafort to 47 months in prison offers a timely reminder that the whole Russia collusion narrative was never more than a fantasy of the Democrats and the mainstream media.

As numerous investigations and witness testimonies have already demonstrated, there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government to elect Donald Trump as president. The entire justification for the Mueller probe was a farce, invented by former Hillary Clinton presidential campaign manager Robby Mook and the rest of the Clinton brain trust to justify their humiliating defeat in the 2016 presidential election.

Even U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III acknowledged that Manafort's convictions were completely unrelated to the Russia collusion, about which the judge had previously expressed skepticism in open court.

"He is not before the court for anything having to do with colluding with the Russian government," Ellis said in court.

It's near-universally assumed by now that Mueller's final report, however much of it the public eventually sees, will fail to show any evidence of collusion. So the same talking heads who've spent nearly two years whipping half the country into a frenzy about Russian collusion have to cling to what they do have: Manafort.

The problem for them is that Manafort's convictions illustrate just how empty Mueller's net has come up after more than 21 months in this putrid fishing hole.

Paul Manafort was found guilty of tax fraud, bank fraud, and failure to report a foreign bank account. In addition to the 47-month prison sentence that Ellis gave him Thursday, Manafort will serve even longer because the judge in his other criminal trial threw out his guilty plea after determining he lied to Mueller's investigators.

This is all very serious -- and all very irrelevant to Russian election interference.

Manafort, plain and simple, is going to prison for things completely outside the original scope of Mueller's investigation. All of his convictions stem from the shady lobbying businesses he ran with his associate Rick Gates long before joining the Trump campaign in 2016.

The same could be said about any of the myriad other indictments Mueller has brought against Americans who were unfortunate enough to have ties to the Trump campaign. The only illegal conduct Mueller uncovered either predates the Trump campaign or involves "process crimes" directly linked to Mueller's investigation, such as those of George Papadopoulos, the former Trump aide who got a whopping 14 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

The fact is that after nearly two years of work, we still have no indication that the Mueller probe found so much as a single instance of actual Trump-Russia collusion. Cases such as Manafort's are typically relegated to no more than a moment's mention on the nightly news, but not this time.

The fake collusion narrative is simply too important to the media. They've invested too much of their capital and credibility, so they have no choice but to present Manafort's crimes as evidence not only of Donald Trump's supposed culpability but of Mueller's efficacy.

For their part, the president's detractors on Capitol Hill, particularly Democratic committee chairmen Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff, need the artificial stench of the Manafort sentencing to hang in the air as long as possible so that they can prepare to launch the second wave of their vile, politically motivated attack.

[Trang Ánh Nam] New comment on At least 15 dead, many injured, in apparent large ....

Trang Ánh Nam has left a new comment on your post "At least 15 dead, many injured, in apparent large ...":

At least 23 dead, many injured, in apparent large tornado in Alabama, officials say; fatalities could rise

At least 23 people were confirmed dead, and "many, many" injured when an apparent large tornado destroyed several homes in a southeast Alabama community Sunday, according to officials.

Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones told The Associated Press late Sunday evening that children are among the dead. He says it's possible the death toll could continue to rise, but authorities are pausing search efforts overnight because conditions are too dangerous in the dark due to massive amounts of debris.

An 8-year-old girl in Beauregard -- an area of apparently greatest destruction -- is among the dead, the news outlet reported.

The deaths and injuries occurred in the community of Beauregard in Lee County, an area in the eastern part of the state near the Georgia line, Rita Smith with the Lee County Emergency Management Agency told The Associated Press.

Jones said the apparent twister traveled straight down a key local artery in Beauregard and that the path of damage and destruction appeared at least a half mile wide. He said single-family homes and mobile homes were destroyed. He had told reporters earlier that several people were taken to hospitals, some with "very serious injuries."

"I cannot recall, at least in the last 50 years, and longer than that, a situation where we have had this type, this loss of life that we experienced today," Jones told CBS affiliate WRBL-TV.

Alabama Emergency Management Agency spokesman Gregory Robinson said no deaths have been reported in the state beyond Lee County.

"We've got about 150 first responders out there," Smith told AP by phone earlier. "They are doing a phenomenal job. Sadly, we know that we have two known confirmed fatalities and many, many injuries."

She said multiple homes have been destroyed or damaged in Beauregard, a community about 60 miles east of Montgomery, the state capital.

Numerous tornado warnings were posted across parts of Alabama, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina on Sunday afternoon as the powerful storm system raced across the region.

Weather officials said they confirmed other tornadoes around the region by radar alone and would send teams out early Monday to assess the situation involving those and others.

The threat of severe weather was expected to continue into the late-night hours. A tornado watch was in effect for much of eastern Georgia, including Athens, Augusta and Savannah. The tornado watch also covered a large area of South Carolina, including the cities of Charleston and Columbia.

Late Sunday night, President Trump tweeted words of encouragement: "To the great people of Alabama and surrounding areas: Please be careful and safe. Tornadoes and storms were truly violent and more could be coming. To the families and friends of the victims, and to the injured, God bless you all!"

Meteorologist Meredith Wyatt with the Birmingham, Alabama, office of the National Weather Service said radar and video evidence showed what looked like a large tornado crossing the area near Beauregard shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Weather Channel reported that nearly 26,000 customers were without power in Georgia early Sunday evening; another 16,500 had no electricity in Alabama.

Unfortunately even an outright apology, of which this "note" comes short of, doesn't change the fear and potential assault(s) this "child" has/had to endure since the defamation of character by the Washington Post and others. This "child" has been the victim of abuse from the left national media to the point where his safety is not guaranteed.

The Washington Post did not run a single Jussie Smollet story THE DAY AFTER HE WAS ARRESTED.
Its like they lost interest when they could no longer push a narrative.

Exactly what role did Hillary play in modern politics? She was a senator for 4 years and proposed exactly ZERO pieces of legislation. She was a Secretary of State and succeeded in failing at every opportunity. She was a presidential candidate who lost in historic fashion. Her contributions to politics amount to nothing but failure.

I love this line, "I think every Democrat is gonna come together," he said. "I hope to be the Democratic nominee and have the support of the whole Democratic Party behind me. If I am not, and somebody else is, I will support that candidate because what's most important is that Trump be defeated…" THAT my friends is what the left is all about. They don't care who is president, whether they are for the people or even care about this country....just as long as Trump is defeated. This speaks volumes of the Left and their blind hate.

WOW!

BRAVO, Michelle Malkin! BRAVO!

SHE. NAILED. IT. WITH. A. PERFECT. BULL'S EYE.

That was the most unfettered, direct, heartfelt, brutally honest, utterly succinct and poignant speech I've ever heard. I felt my emotions welling up because she was speaking my mind with the same passion and emotion that I know we all feel.

This video must absolutely go viral. I will do my part by sending this to as many people as I can, especially my liberal family members and friends.

I think this tactic should be illegal. If they both violated the law throw them both in jail. Using this tactic can cause people to say what the prosecutor wants to hear and to make accusations the prosecutor wants them to make. I think it's a corrupt tactic for prosecutors that can't prove their case.

Mueller and his band of shysters threatened Cohen? Never forget who is Mueller's enforcer, Andrew Weissmann… what that RAT did to Senator Stevens is outrageous. He should have been disbarred and fired for abuse of power.

Mueller and his shysters should be facing a Grand Jury. I don't know if I'm angrier at the NTs for pushing the Mueller ruse or Mueller and his shysters!!??

[Trang Ánh Nam] New comment on Otto Warmbier's family criticizes President Trump'....

Trang Ánh Nam has left a new comment on your post "Otto Warmbier's family criticizes President Trump'...":

Newt Gingrich: Trump and Haley right to condemn North Korea in Otto Warmbier's death

Both former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley and President Trump deserve serious praise for their clear condemnation of North Korea in the death of American college student Otto Warmbier.

Haley was exactly right on Thursday when she tweeted: "Americans know the cruelty that was placed on Otto Warmbier by the North Korean regime. Our hearts are with the Warmbier family for their strength and courage. We will never forget Otto."

Haley was referring to the then-21-year-old University of Virginia student who was arrested and sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in North Korea after he allegedly took a piece of propaganda from a hotel room in Pyongyang in 2016.

When Warmbier was returned to the United States 17 months later (after pressure from the Trump administration) he had been so badly beaten and abused that he died days later.

Haley's statement Thursday echoes what President Trump has said in the past about the terrible, barbaric treatment of Warmbier by the North Koreans.

After Warmbier died in June 2017, President Trump was clear in his repudiation. At that time, he said that "the United States once again condemns the brutality of the North Korean regime as we mourn its latest victim."

And in September 2017, President Trump noted that Warmbier was "tortured beyond belief by North Korea."

Furthermore, President Trump's resolve and position on North Korea's villainous, inhumane treatment of Warmbier were clear when he invited Fred and Cindy Warmbier, the young man's parents, to attend his first State of the Union address in January 2018.

Haley deserves praise for highlighting Warmbier's death – and the North Korean regime's clear responsibility for it – after comments President Trump made following the halt of his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Vietnam Thursday.

And President Trump was also right to quickly clarify himself Friday when he tweeted: "Of course I hold North Korea responsible for Otto's mistreatment and death. Most important, Otto Warmbier will not have died in vain. Otto and his family have become a tremendous symbol of strong passion and strength, which will last for many years into the future."

President Trump is trying to navigate a very serious, dangerous relationship with the North Koreans. He took exactly the right tack in walking away from negotiations when Kim was demanding full sanctions relief while refusing to fully denuclearize.

Trump is also exactly right for clarifying his comments about the culpability of North Korea in Warmbier's death. Otto was a young, promising, American whose life was cut short by the savage, cruel, tyranny of the North Korean regime.

Haley did the right thing in making that clear. And President Trump has done the right thing in joining her.

No deal is worth diminishing the dignity of an American life – especially one that was brutally murdered by a tyrant.
